Exhibition Details
After two years I was so excited to organise my first group exhibition, ‘DISCOVERY – Mixed Artist Exhibition’. And during the month of May the Bean Cafe had over 40 art works on display from 6 lovely artists. This provided an amazing atmosphere and a great opportunity to enjoy all the creations in one place. The exhibition showcased works from Luke Bamkin, Celeste Fishburn, Lauren Simpson, Leon Zhan, Eugenie Zhan and myself.
Initially I wasn’t sure what to expect organising a larger group event, however the journey was really exciting. Everything from finding an amazing venue, finalising agreements, managing timelines, advertising, and planning for the opening. It was all worth the time and effort to see all the guests and artists enjoying themselves. The artwork was beautiful and unique, and there were so many supportive family and friends for the opening night. Through the month of May, every time I visited the Bean Café, I saw people enjoying the artworks on display. We received lovely and positive comments, and I was so glad to have a successful group exhibition.
