HOPE 希望 – Art Exhibition WHALE

The concept for my upcoming exhibition “ HOPE – 希望 – ”, I’m organising for this August in Brisbane, will present a series of my whale art illustrations. I choose “ HOPE – 希望 – “ as a tile of my exhibition because I want to send a messages through my art works. My whale art illustrations represent the importance of protecting ocean and marine animals in our world.
I’m aware of the negative history of Japanese whaling, and traditionally, due to the landscape in Japan, whaling was done for a living. Japan is not the only country that plays apart when it comes to the destruction and damage to our marine wild life, and as a whole, I believe we can change. No matter how small, I hope that with the right messages the world will and can change, and my exhibition will subtly portray messages of how precious whales are.

Apart from my whale art and art reproduction prints, I will also have my whale designed ecofriendly merchandises at the show. I will be contributing some of my sales to help marine life, rescue and research.
There will be fun activity for kids to enjoy while you visit as well.
