Exhibition Details
The Argus – Disruption Bushfires Exhibit was held at the Grey Street Gallery in Southbank from 14th to 28th of September. The work displayed focused on disruption while seeking to unite works across a variety of mediums. I was so honored to be selected to be apart of this display. Further Exhibit details can also be found here; http://theargus.net.au/disruption-exhibition/
I created a special art piece “Survival Koala Seed Pod” for this year’s transmedia project “Disruption” for the ARGUS. The art piece represents the survival through the bushfires, with Banksia seed pods reaching out through the umbilical cord to mother de Koala which gain energy for herself and to protect her joey within the Australian bushfire “disruption”.
2020 has been a challenging year for all…
Seeing so much damage and sadness from Australian bushfires, I really wanted to help wildlife where I could. And for a while now I’ve been donating towards @wireswildliferescue and @portmacquariekoalahospital. And most recently I was able to adopt a Koala – Ocean
Summer.
